CITY OF DEMOCRACY PROJECT HOSTS JOINT STATE VISIT

On November 24, 2025, the City of Democracy project in Libreville welcomed H.E. Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, President of the Republic of Gabon, and H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, as part of an official state visit program.

The joint inspection highlighted the strategic importance of the City of Democracy within Gabon’s institutional transformation framework. Envisioned as a major administrative hub, the project is designed to consolidate key public institutions within a purpose-built complex, contributing to enhanced governance functionality and structured urban development.

The presence of two Heads of State at the project site reflects the national significance and scale of the works currently underway, marking an important milestone in the realization of this landmark development.
